Formed in 1999 by Keiichi Sugimoto and Tetsuro Yasunaga. Minamo has released original albums on a number of labels including
12K and Room40.
In addition to Their activities as Minamo, Sugimoto works as a solo artist as FourColor, FilFla, and Vegpher, and creates music for theaters and commercials. Yasunaga participates in various planning and production projects as "Yasunaga Tetsuro Jimushitsu”.
